Wahlberg turns in a realistically gritty and emotionally disturbing performance in Shymalan’s finest film. I am, of course, speaking of Donnie Wahlberg in “The Sixth Sense”. Mark Wahlberg sleeps his way through “The Happening” as M. Night Shyamalan completely gives up on trying to make a good film and treats us to scenes of Mark Wahlberg running away from the wind, and then trying to reason with a plastic plant!
